Genesis 1:27-28, 2:23-24
"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it....and Adam said: "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." Therefore man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed."'
After a broken heart mourning over the fallen path of wickedness our country has chosen, this is the poem that I wrote this morning; it's called:
No Room
Dear Jesus,
Selfish, blackened, was my heart, no desire to strive with Thee
Outward, I looked, I felt good and pretty and sweet and those around thought so too,
But God, He who made man's heart, how He knows my heart much more than I.
I opened my mouth and claimed His name, yet I still desired and clung to my gold, glittery idols,
Too reluctant to give them up,
Til Oh! Alas! The Lord Creator's Word was loosed like a raging fire and a seed He did conceive in my heart!
My idols of silver, sequin and glory, melted to soup like nothing
As Jesus Christ took the place in my soul of those thing and no room for any one else

is more than a rebellion against everything society and our culture has ever known, believed or taught from the beginning...
it is none other a direct attack on the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Think about it. Where does the image of a spotless, white bride waiting for the promise of her bridegroom truly originate from?
Here's from Matthew 25:
The Parable of the Ten Virgins
25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 “‘No,’
they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go
to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived.
The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
The beautiful picture of a young woman keeping herself pure for her bridegroom is the picture of the Gospel.
Here's my testimony, I was a foolish virgin, I did not care about anyone but myself and I relished my sinful lusts, I hated my brother (which Jesus calls the same as murdering my brother) I talked back to my parents (the Ten Commandments, 'Honor your Father and Mother and it will go well with you...'), I lied to try to cover my sin (Ten Commandments, 'Do not lie') I have stolen, which makes me a thief. Truly, if I had died a few years back I would have stood before my Maker God and He would have said, "Truly I tell you, I don't know you." Because He did not know me! To be honest, I was the exact opposite of that picture of the holy, spotless bride awaiting her bridegroom! So how did that change?
I didn't change anything, God did. He changed my heart. And no this isn't mushy, it's the solid truth. God's Word is Truth because it is the 'Salt and light' and it illuminates the sin that before I was trying to cover up. When I read the Ten Commandments, and when you read them, you should be saying "Ouch! Ouch!" just as if salt were penetrating your soul because it's the Truth! It hurts! Why would man "make-up" something that hurts? No, our culture today uplifts the things that "make us feel good" about ourselves, that make us happy, that can "cover-up" the black, evil, depraved, wicked, sinners that we are. If we got the Equal Rights that we deserved as sinners before a Holy Judge, then we deserve Hell.
But God....oh the sweetness of those two words, not "but man" but it begins with Him;
Romans 5:7-8
'For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.'
Do you know when someone seriously says something mean at you, or wrongs you and you get angry toward him? That is what we have done to God. We are all sinners, headed for destruction
UNLESS you repent and believe that Jesus Christ took YOUR place on that cross and rose again, defeating your sin so you might live with God.
Do you know that IF you trust in Jesus Christ the Son of God, then Jesus lays His white, spotless, shimmering robe on our shoulders and takes our black, heavy, mucus-covered, bloody, infested from sin robe on his shoulders and 'He who knew no sin became sin for us so that we might become His righteousness...'. If you turn and flee from your sin and cling to Christ, God no longer sees ------(fill in the blank with your name) as a filthy, transgressing sinner that deserves just punishment to Hell any longer, but He sees His Son, Jesus BECAUSE Jesus gave you His SNOW WHITE ROBE when you TRUSTED HIM!
Now think about the age-old commitment between one man and one woman and how this correlates with the Gospel (which means Good News by the way!!!)
When God changes a sinner's heart, He calls him or her his bride, and they are part of the church, (all those that have ever trusted and ever will trust in Jesus Christ's blood), and Jesus is the bridegroom! All those that have believed are waiting for the promise that the Bridegroom is returning to gather the ones that truly love Him, not the lukewarm people, the true Believers.
What Obama and the Government are doing is they are loading their 16 calibers and trying it at the foundation of Christianity, at God's Word the Bible. If we take out the sacred commitment between the bridegroom and the bride, then we are destroying the very foundations upon which the TRUE Bridegroom and Bride stand!!!
If you are reading this and anger is rising up, then it is a righteous anger and that is an indication that God's Spirit may be working in you. But remember this!! The REAL Enemy here is not the Government, it is not those that choose to rebel against God's plan (which we all do before God gets a hold of us) or even Obama, but the REAL Enemy is Satan. The Devil is rejoicing today but though he may have won this little battle,
I know, we know Who wins in the end,
and all those that trust in Jesus Christ saving blood are washed as WHITE AS SNOW and are perfect brides of Christ not because they did anything for
'It is by grace you have been saved, by faith, not of yourselves lest anyone should boast'! Ephesians 2:8-9
The line is being drawn, and we should not be surprised when the persecutions of those who stand up for the Word of God are spit upon, ridiculed, and even murdered. Yes, murdered.
But God is sovereign, and I believe this is one of the things He is allowing to truly divide the True Christians from those that are lukewarm. Like my dad has said, "Sometimes in order to stand we need to be on our knees."
I am sick to my stomach over this....but Jesus is my Savior and He is faithful. Amen forever! He is my Bridegroom! And no matter how many people choose the wide path that leads to destruction, my Savior has 'set my feet upon a rock and put a new song in my mouth' and I will follow Him!!
For there is no room for anyone else, or anything else. His Word is Truth, I am saved. And Christ calls us to love those that persecute us, He says to love our enemies. 'For they will know you by your love...'
Humbly speak the truth in aggressive love.
Stand up for His Word, it is under attack. But we have the cannons, all the ammo we will ever need...
right in the pages of The Book that's called,
The Holy Bible.

Here, this day when the United States Supreme Court has ruled that homosexuals will have the same rights as those lawfully married, in striking down the Defense of Marriage Act, is a sad day for those of us who love the Lord. Not only is homosexuality tolerated, it is now celebrated and gay couples are given the same rights as heterosexual couples. Are we, as a nation, blind to the fact that our culture, our country, starts in the home? Are we starting in our homes with a solid foundation of one man and one woman, according to God’s word in Genesis? (Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall join to his wife: and they shall be one flesh).
Think of how God designed the human bodies of a man and woman to fit together, to bond physically but also spiritually. How beautiful this design…to bind a couple together, in two hearts and minds and souls…and the design of our Creator to also bring children into our world.
We are undermining the very foundation that any culture must have in order to thrive and our country’s leaders are in direct disobedience to the Word of God.
Are we, as Christ-followers, standing up for what is right? Even when it is uncomfortable, even when we are persecuted? …Christ suffered, so we should understand that we too will be persecuted for doing what is right, and just, according to the scripture. (Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you).
I do not hate gay people…I have had and do have a few friends now living in this lifestyle. However, we are called to love that person, and hate the sin. Just as if I was living a sinful lifestyle and engaging in sex outside of marriage….then I am disobeying God and will suffer the consequences. We must call it for what it is and lovingly confront our friends and family that may be in this lifestyle right now.

I have taken an excerpt out of this article and put it here for the purpose of showing that there are so many detrimental, sad, and serious consequences that we are not being told, and our young people do not know, when it comes to choosing this homosexual lifestyle. We are being deceived by the very real enemy, satan, and it is very much a spiritual battle.
“The following, however, are some additional areas in which the children of lesbian mothers (who represented 71% of all the children with homosexual parents in this study) differed from the IBF children, in ways that were statistically significant in both a direct comparison and with controls. Children of lesbian mothers:
Are more likely to be currently cohabiting
Are almost 4 times more likely to be currently on public assistance
Are less likely to be currently employed full-time
Are more than 3 times more likely to be unemployed
Are nearly 4 times more likely to identify as something other than entirely heterosexual
Are 3 times as likely to have had an affair while married or cohabiting
Are an astonishing 10 times more likely to have been “touched sexually by a parent or other adult caregiver.”
Are nearly 4 times as likely to have been “physically forced” to have sex against their will
Are more likely to have “attachment” problems related to the ability to depend on others
Use marijuana more frequently
Smoke more frequently
Watch TV for long periods more frequently
Have more often pled guilty to a non-minor offense”
Here is another article on http://www.unh.edu/sociology/media/pdfs-journal2012/P12_Schaaff.pdf. The title of this article is “A Comparative Examination of Suicide Rates among Hetero and Homosexual Adolescents and Young Adults.”
“In this study, 637 heterosexual, 524 lesbian, and 143 bisexual women were surveyed regarding mental health issues (Koh 2006:33). Homosexual women whose sexual identity remained concealed were found to be 2.5 times more likely to have occasional or frequent suicidal
ideation compared to heterosexual women (Koh 2006:46). Further, homosexual women whose sexual identity remained concealed from the public were found to be 90% more likely to have attempted suicide then heterosexual women (Koh 2006:47).”
And these facts are just a tip of the iceberg.
We are all sinners and must cry out to the Lord. The bad news is that we are all sinners. The Good News is that Jesus Christ has come to the world to save those who repent and believe on Him. It’s not too late!
According to the New Testament, in Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
Share truth with others and love them as Christ does. Everyone needs him, not just homosexuals. We who tell a lie, we who hit our brother, we who stole a calculator from work, we who have a lustful thought, we who have cheated on our taxes. Each of these acts are sins. We will each suffer the wrath and separation from God, if we are not covered by the blood of Jesus.
Remember, Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, lest anyone can boast.” We must cry out to God for forgiveness and stand for what is right, according to our Creator’s word."
