The Friendship that lasts Forever....

Currently, in fact I just read some in it tonight, I am reading in a book called Grown-Up Girlfriends by Erin Smalley and Carrie Oliver.  Its really my mom's book but when I see a good book like this one I don't let it set for long!:)
God is wise in heart and mighty in strength, who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?
Job 9:4

As I go through this Grown-Up Girlfriends book, it makes me realize how shallow so many of my relationships are in my life.  Why had I never thought of asking one of my friends I've known since third grade about her testimony, or even more convicting...have I even asked my own grandmother(s), or even...mother?  For me, I know my mother has a testimony, but have I asked it?  For some of you, you may not know if some of your friends are saved, why not ask them?  Are we so stuck in ourselves that we are afraid of being rejected or loosing the friendship?  I highly encourage you, (and even if your not a girl, find a good friendship book that will work for you, but this has principles for everyone in it) to pick up this book and give it a try.  More importantly though, pick up the Good Book and don't just until it is opened unto to you, never stop knocking!  Do you know that God will never turn away someone that seeks Him with his/her entire heart?  I love Job 9:4 because that last segment states: 'Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered?'
Your real friend is The Friend called Jesus.  You can't hide from God forever, in the end, we all will be judged.  Let God's Word soften your heart.  Don't harden it.  And witness the wonders that the Lord will do through your life...your heart.  When you call on Jesus, He answers.  He made friendship before we even had a word for it.
Love Him.

My posts are here for you to read, and for you to share your thoughts if you feel led to.
Please ask yourself every time before you post if it honors Jesus.
I know if your doing that then your heart wants to please Him!

Thank you,
A Sister In the Lord Jesus,

Samantha Anne
