Look Up to The Lord Poem

Why, weak body and dead soul, do you war against the Light?
Why are you afraid of It, and why do you hide?
Do you not know that it is He that already won the fight?
the fight for your soul, O you sinner of night,
the fight is already won and O evil sinner, turn to the glorious might
Of Lord Jesus Christ.
 
Turn from your sin and turn upon Him, and then you shall be saved
from the terrors of night.
